What are Snuggle Sacks
Snuggle Sacks are survival kits full of basic essentials containing food, toiletry, and clothing items that a homeless person may be in desperate need of but don't have the ability to supply for themselves. Snuggle Sacks purchases the items needed for each snuggle sack, assembles the sacks, and distributes the sacks to area homeless shelters.
What are Tiny Pantries
Tiny pantries are wooden structures we place around our local communities that offer access to full size toiletries and hygiene products, as well as nonperishable food items. These are unlocked and available 24/7, and refilled weekly. We invite supporters to add items to these at any time. We do this in partnership with Cardboard Prophets - a complete list of locations can be foundHERE.

There are many items that are included in Snuggle Sacks Survival Kits. Below is a list of the items that typically are included in the survival kits. We attempt to keep inventory levels around 1000 pieces per list item, especially during the colder months when the homeless community is suffering the most.

Snuggle Sacks relies heavily on community-based donations in the form of financial donations as well as donated supplies for the survival kits. Amazon shoppers can list Snuggle Sacks as their charity at Amazon Smile and a portion of your purchase goes to Snuggle Sacks. Monetary donations are used at local stores to purchase supplies for each of our survival kits.

Each Snuggle Sack survival kit is hand assembled by our team of volunteers. We are always looking for help in assembling these kits as we work together to provide HOPE in a bag for our homeless communities.

Distribute
Snuggle Sacks survival kits are currently distributed to areas of need in the Flint, Lansing, and Detroit areas. Our team of volunteers loads the Snuggle Sacks in trucks and vehicles and deliver to homeless shelters and other facilities aimed towards providing relief for the homeless community. Below is a list of places where we deliver Snuggle Sacks. We are always looking for volunteers to help during this very rewarding experience.
